Bandhavgarh is the Tiger capital of the world for me. With density of tigers only next to Kaziranga, this park has a good population of tigers and they are often seen in the morning evening safari drives into the three zones of this magnificient setting. Bandhavgarh aka the fort of brother has a lot of historical and mythological importance which sets this park aside and is in comparable to other wildlife destinations in central India. Tigers names Charger, Sita and B2 has made this park famous and got it into the wildlife map for nature lovers and photographers. I first visted Bandhavgarh in 2003 and it has become my second home since then. I have had some amazing sightings here and it has also been my learning ground. The first tiger I ever saw here was B2 and this is where my story with Bandhavgarh starts.
